Google Directive 51 & the Executive Orders
When a farmer is told to grow crops on a certain lot of land he has to make the ground work for him. He has tools and the ability to beat the competition of tough soil and barren lands. That is how our economy should be run.
Humans have a very wonderful attribute, we can make something great out of something that isn’t so great to start with. We can create solutions to our problems, but all humans have a weakness. PAIN we hate pain we avoid pain at all costs. Well labor is essentially pain. That is why we cut corners and exploit situations to our advantage. That is why I believe a lot of laws are created, not all but some. Ex. Banning monopolies. I think we should encourage monopolies to exist. I think that the tax would be 20% instead of 10% but then the government can invest that extra 10% into small businesses in order to gain a more competitive economy. You might be saying “ well isn’t that legal plunder? Aren’t you taking from one person and giving to another?” No, a monopoly is not a person a big business is not a person. Even people within the same business are competing with each other for the extra money. This is just a way to lighten to economical shock that we could face with monopolies being present again. Once we have an extremely competitive economy we will see monopolies start to fade away anyways.
If we want to have our rights and liberties we will have to deal with competition. We cannot keep running to the government to pass laws just so we don’t have to work as hard. The government isn’t there to make sure we all play fair. They should be there to protect you and I while we are figuring out a better way to overcome the competition. The government should offer options but doesn’t need to regulate the society.
