The responsibility of the Government is to protect the country and its people while interfering as little as possible with their lives. The government should not be a means to control the people and take its money, but rather to encourage the privatization of industries and to let the people be in control of every aspect of their lives.

I agree. I wrote this to a congressman about impeaching Bush: "Protect our rights and our liberties. Protect America, Do not lead us, Do not mold us, Do not create laws that limit America. We are people we bleed just like you congressman. You are no different from me who is an 18 year old student. You do not know what is best for me or anyone else for that matter. You wouldn't do such a ridiculous thing and let someone guide your life would you? So leave mine alone leave AMERICA'S alone! We need to impeach Bush so we can see if we can take him out of office and let the real true resolution (r3volution) take place and reform our government. Thank you for your time. Exactly. The government should preserve our liberties, not limit them with the patriot act and the homeland security act. These are not a means to protect against terrorism. These were designed for the specific purpose of discouraging American dissent! All we need is another catastrophe like 9/11 and this country will be totalitarian!

I couldn't agree more. I think that without drastic changes we could be really venerable and hurt if something were to happen. However we are talking about going into Iran? It confuses me so bad to think how in the hell could we even be talking about going into Iran? We don't have money for the war we currently are fighting. Let alone the support or ability. We are over in China borrowing from them. We really need to start focusing on America not the world, the world will see how a government should be done and maintained. We cannot force anything upon anybody. I think that other societies will see this and I honestly think the world will be better off but through example NOT FORCE!
